Some context from page 79 is:
...determination seeds their brains to predict differently in the future so they can get their butterflies flying in formation.
The phrase "get your butterflies flying in formation" comes from Grandmaster Joe Esposito, the head of my daughter's karate school. He gave her this advice just before she tested for her black belt when she was 12 years old.
